About our Client - Our client is a leading Indian Brokerage Firm, which has seen phenomenal growth in the past years and is looking to continue on the growth path in the years to come. They are looking for a strong finance candidate to direct and lead processes in their finance & accounts arm.

Job Description - The job involves:

- Preparation and clearance of standalone financial statements with in time limit with the statutory auditors.

- Compliance of statutory liabilities TDS, Service Tax, Stamp Duty and other statutory dues

- Filing of Tax returns and Reviewing and submitting the details to the IT Departments independently

- Reconciliation of Fixed Assets for the 150 +Branches.

- Compliance with respect to Companies Act, 1956 and as per Accounting Standards (financial statements)

- Preparation of Monthly MIS for Board discussion

- Taking part in Tax Planning of the organization

- Quarterly calculation of income as per IT Act for payment of advance tax

- Handling of accounting related queries of 150 + branches

- Handling of Internal Auditors of the Company

- Taking part in Private Equity Process for submission of reports

- Leading a team of 25+ analysts and managing their daily deliverables

The Successful Candidate - You will be a qualified accountant (CA 2001/02/03), with 7+ years of relevant experience. You will currently be working with a Big 4 firm, wherein you will have experience of servicing BFSI clients. You are well versed with Oracle financial module (including AP Modules, FA Modules, Cash Management, GL Module, I Expenses, etc) and other related internal control procedures. You will posses strong communication, presentation and leadership skills. You will be capable of dealing with external stakeholders as well as top management with ease.
