DESIGNATION : AVP – F & A Analytics

LOCATION : Bangalore

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : 8-10 years

QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s degree. Quantitative Master's Degree Preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Responsible for having client/on-site team interaction and understand business requirements and analysis of business problem.

- Communicate expectations and establish deadlines in agreement with team members.

- Support the team in leading and execution of the projects.

- Conceptualize the analytical methodology for business problems, provide strategic and operational data-based insights to business

- Solve business problems with quantitative analysis, generate insights and ability to translate statistical/mathematical results into business recommendations

- Analyze situations, diagnose problems, identify key issues, establish and evaluate alternate courses of action and produce a logical practical and acceptable solution

- Handle multiple project modules and ensure delivery is smooth and error free.

- Conduct performance reviews, define career paths to team members and also lead, help and guide the team in day-to-day analysis to meet the business goals

- Manage communication with the client and the internal service delivery teams with an objective to agree and finalize the business requirements and the proposed analytical solution.

- Contribute to preparing business proposals and collateral development

- Contribute to developing analytics solutions across various F&A processes areas

- Being part of initiatives within the organization.

- Flexibility to work across time zones

Person Specific skills:

- Prior experience in segmentation and scorecard development

- Prior experience in managing analytic resources

- Prior experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects

- Prior expeience in dealing with offshore clients either as part of captive or third party analytics service provider

- Previous experience in Collection/Risk functions

- Exposure to Finance and Accounts Operations-accounts payable/ accounts receivable

- P&L responsibility in service delivery organization

SKILLS REQUIRED :

- Ability to use quantitative analysis and statistical/mathematical methods to solve business problems

- Ability to pay attention to detail, strong listening, verbal and written communication skills

- Show well-developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.

- Team player with excellent people management skills & experience in managing multiple full scale projects

- Strong sense of accountability and decisiveness in a strong work ethic culture

- Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency

- Pragmatic problem-solver, forward thinker with independence of thought

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :

- Knowledge of, and ability to perform, quantitative analysis, linear/multiple regression, logistic regression, CHAID modeling, and analysis and historical behavioral analysis

- Working knowledge of data management, including database and spreadsheet applications, with the ability to use moderately complex models or specialized computer applications

- Exposure to one of statistical tools like SAS, SPSS, R.

- Flexibility as travel to client sites is required

- Working knowledge of tools like Knowledge Seeker, MBPA would be an added advantage

- Ability to extract data from multiple data sources like Oracle and SQL server using SQL.
