AVP - Enterprise Reporting Report Developer - Bank

- This role on the Enterprise Reporting and Strategy Team is focused on development of reporting solutions in contemporary tools including Tableau.

- The successful candidate will investigate, formulate, and integrate solutions for the risk reporting domain across all areas of risk.

- Requires good analytical skills, creativity, organization, motivation and communication. Strong diplomacy skills are required to deal with a range of clients as well as technology partners. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role for project work. Significant impact to the organization through solutions delivered.

Responsibilities:

- Developing data and reports using strategic tools such as Tableau to support prudent risk management

- Working with stakeholders to gather and align requirements for risk data and reporting

- Supporting large and complex programs through creative and thoughtful solutions

- Liaising across multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions

- Serving as analytical and/or procedural expert, representing team on cross function deliverables

- Assessing risk for business decisions are made and exercising sound judgement in deliver

Qualifications:

- 3 or more years of experience in a financial services or related role

- Experience building dashboards and reports in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other packages

- Strong communication, diplomacy, and quantitative/analytical skills

- Track record of strong execution and delivery capabilities

- Experience with, or willingness to learn about risk management concepts across all risk stripes

- Expertise in programming, data modelling and data management (Python, SAS) a plus

- Familiarity with database technology, SQL, programming languages such as C++ or JavaScript

- Proficient with SharePoint and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including VBA

- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively in a high volume and complex environment
