Job Description:

- Having in-depth engineering aptitude, knowledge/updates on various cost indices and expertise in independently performing/reviewing property /assets valuation for insurance purposes.

- Initiating preliminary discussions with clients to understand their requirements in detail, site surveys at client facilities, gathering information and working with Fixed Asset Registers of clients performing market research to gather cost and market information of plant and equipment from industry to industry, application of values in relation to the product being manufactured and to arrive at an accurate valuation of the location.

- Familiar with all general utility of plant and equipment and its design and applicability to manufacturing process, which have implication in the value of such assets.

- Application of obsolescence, remaining / balanced life of equipment, Maintenance practices adopted, cost of import, exchange rate etc. asset valuation analysis.

- Good Report writing skills and experience using Valuation Standards and industry requirements including presenting analyses and conclusions.

- Develop, evaluate & implement systems/procedures for developing Asset Valuation services and adequacy checks of given valuations for different segments, occupancies etc. based on past data.

- Build expertise within our team by conducting structured training programs on Asset Valuations to be able to drive the initiatives across regions.

Ideal Applicant:

- BE/B.Tech or ME in Chemical/Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a university of repute.

- Having undergone an Asset valuation certificate course and having a valid certificate from a regulatory-approved institute

- 6+ years in any large manufacturing industry working in maintenance/inspection or production department and a minimum of 6 years in an Asset Valuation or surveying Co. specialized in property survey and valuation.
