The company operates across multiple asset classes, including microfinance, small business loans, affordable housing finance, vehicle finance, agricultural finance, consumer finance, and mid-market corporate finance. It has enabled over USD 11 billion in financing for over 200 partner organizations through 140 domestic and global investors. The company also has a fund management subsidiary managing multiple Alternate Investment Funds with a cumulative AUM of USD 200 million.
Job Objective:
- Identify and onboard high-quality NBFCs and financial services companies as clients.
- Manage the company's balance sheet loan/investment exposures and run debt-raising mandates.
- Assist clients in managing their balance sheets by offering suitable debt and structured finance products.
- Develop a strong understanding of sectors and entities through field visits, data analysis, and stakeholder interactions.
- Interact with Originators' management to identify potential business opportunities.
- Communicate market feedback to the Structured Finance and Capital Markets team.
- Negotiate transaction terms, pricing, and documentation with investors.
- Manage end-to-end deal origination to transaction execution on the company's platform.
- Provide inputs for transaction structuring and identify new asset classes.
- Develop a sound understanding of the company's products, regulations, tax, excel modeling, and documentation.
- Network within the industry and represent the company in public forums.
- Create visibility for the company among potential clients and sectors.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA from a leading business school or qualified Chartered Accountant.
- 6 - 15 years of experience in NBFCs, financial services, commercial banking, investment banking, or credit analysis, including experience leading teams and managing relationships.
Skills:
- Preparation of pitch books, credit assessment notes, investor presentations, and deal-related documents.
- Self-starter with the ability to own the role and develop high-quality coverage.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of structured products.
- Proficiency in MS-Office and other technology tools.
- Strong sales experience and networking skills.
- Interest in financial inclusion and related opportunities.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills and problem-solving attitude.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, self-motivation, and ability to work individually and as part of a team.
