AVP - Digital Marketing & Technology - Insurance

This position is based with a Reputed Life Insurance company in Mumbai.

Experience:

- 10 - 13 yrs experience in strategic planning and managing execution of technology deliverable on a digital /eCommerce platform

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead the strategic and operational governance processes of the digital business team

- Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve digital business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems.

- Develop and maintain an appropriate IT structure that supports the needs of the digital business.

- Establish departmental technology goals, objectives, and operating procedures.

- Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development.

- Assess and communicate risks associated with IT investments.

- Develop, track, and control the technology annual operating and capital budgets for the business vertical.

- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for Digital IT spending and initiatives.

- Coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.

- Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance for digital business.

- Manage the day to day work of both in house developers and 3rd party specialists in the specifying and integration of any web development platforms, APIs, content management systems or database technologies.

- Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies and prices. Advise, counsel, and educate peers and management on their competitive or financial impact.

- Promote and oversee strategic relationships between internal IT resources and external entities.

- Supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organization of technology staff in accordance with corporate budgetary objectives and personnel policies.

- Use best practice user-centered design tools and techniques to deliver user research, benchmarks, UX strategy, experience maps, user flows, personas, scenarios and journeys, sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes.

- Typically, may also be required to conduct user research, focus groups, prototyping and user testing across projects to take informed decisions on UX.
