One of our leading Investment Banking Clients in Hyderabad is looking for AVP role who has strong work experience in Collateral and portfolio Recon operations.

Designation: AVP (Sup)

Experience: 13 - 15 Years

Location: Hyderabad

Shift timing: EMEA shift (window of 13:30 to 00:30 depending on day light saving)

Responsibilities

- Lead the operations team primarily focus on Global Market Operations

- Work closely with teams in Front/Middle/Back office to evaluate risks and resolve downstream failure of transactions

- Primary point of contact in GGM for all key stakeholders with any questions related to Global Market Operations

- Provide daily, weekly and monthly metrics/reporting

- Work proactively to enhance processes for improved efficiency and control

- Manage ad-hoc projects and liaise with internal counterparts in different regions

- Lead a team of 30+ people including FLMs, mentor staff and oversee their day-to-day functions

Experience

- Should be experienced at handling a team of 30-40 associates for at least 5 years preferably in capital market domain, with proven performance track record

- Thorough understanding of the Banking systems, internal control programs and reporting process

- Experienced in a controls environment and ability to handle diverse portfolio/project in Global Markets

- Significant experience in a large, complex, financial services environment with demonstrated track record navigate and drive risk reduction in a fast-paced, growing business

- Good knowledge of Regulatory environment and the financial industry, risk frameworks

Competencies / Technical Skills:

- Familiarity with markets products ideally in more than one asset class. Experience / working knowledge of derivative products in capital markets and collateralisation is required and previously exposure in a P&L role desired but not essential

- Proven track to Execute and Deliver

- Risk and internal controls experience

- Ability to cope with delivery within very tight deadlines under high pressure.

- Ability to manage large teams and work with across teams/locations to accomplish goals in a timely manner.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.

- Proven track record of interpersonal, leadership, and communication (both written and oral) skills

- Build out management information suite to track progress of role objectives

- Demonstrable ability to cultivate and nurture credibility-based relationships with stakeholders and partners across all levels and functional areas

- Experience managing through complexity to drive results

- Escalation of critical risks & non-compliance with policies, standards, and limits

- Assessment of high risk processes, issues and emerging risks

- Strong analytic, logical reasoning, and problem solving, risk vs. reward skills
