AVP - Data Scientist - Insurance

Essentials :

- Master Study or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline: e.g., statistical, applied mathematics, physics, operations research, computer science or computer engineering.

- 3+ years of experience in relevant areas of advanced analytics.

- Strong analytical & conceptual skills to understand key business needs and design tailored solutions to solve specific business problems.

- Ability to translate business problems into information & mining questions and communicate complex analysis results in a clear, precise and actionable manner.

- Expert knowledge in a combination of analytic, scripting and visualization tools for the integrated analysis of transactional, text, speech and behavioural data.

- Proven track-record in implementing business solutions in the area of information retrieval,machine learning, big data analytics, natural language processing/text mining, data analytics and information visualisation.

- Indepth experience with statistical computing languages such as R, Matlab, SAS, SPSS.

- Fluency with at least one programming language such as Python, Java.

- Proficiency in relational databases/SQL.

- Excellent verbal and written English skills, ideally multi-lingual.
