AVP - Data Engineer - IT

Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, architecture, and development of comprehensive data solutions on the Azure Stack platform.

- Oversee the implementation and optimization of data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration solutions utilizing Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, and other relevant Azure services.

- Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Conduct advanced data modeling, profiling, and quality assessments to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.

- Drive optimization of data processing workflows for enhanced performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

- Ensure the implementation of data governance, security, and compliance practices aligned with industry standards and regulations.

- Monitor and address issues with data solutions, implementing proactive measures to maintain data availability and reliability.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data engineers, fostering their professional development and contributing to the enhancement of data engineering practices.

- Engage with stakeholders across business units, IT functions, and implementation partners to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

- Foster a data-driven culture within the organization by spearheading initiatives such as the implementation of a centralized data Lakehouse and Data Warehouse.
