The candidate will be responsible for the following in his/her job role:

- Create business Insights/reports and perform value-adding analyses of various business levers esp. digital elements, to aid business teams achieve growth by providing recommendations around actionable strategies.

- For the digital suite of wholesale banking products, aid in the design and development/enrichment of product Data warehouses/Data Marts with support from the tech teams. This will involve understanding the process/data flows, various process touchpoints and handshakes, identification of appropriate data sources, implementation of business logic via ETL etc.

- Work cross-functionally with Senior Leaders (internal and external to BIU), technology, strategy and project management teams to identify incremental reporting and analytical requirements and deliver outcomes

- Ensure the timely completion of MI to be published to banks senior mgmt. for established cadence (daily, weekly, monthly etc.)

- Identify business opportunities to optimize product offerings and business strategies using available quantitative/ statistical tools and techniques

- Once digital products and journeys are live, collaboratively aid in creation of frameworks to enable customized/personalized offerings for customers through clickstream analytics and other techniques. Assist in creation of campaigns and nudges

- Lead and mentor a team of 4-6 people who will assist the candidate in the delivery of above responsibilities

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's and above in a quantitative subject such as Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Economics or Finance. CA/CS/CFA with analytics/transformation experience are encouraged to apply

Role Proficiencies:

Skills

- Should have 7+ years of experience majorly in Analytics domain or in a techno-functional role or in banking/digital transformation roles. Should have critical thinking to conceptualize the problem, draw insights and recommend logical strategies

- Possess experience in leading and managing high performing teams (4-6 pax)

- Preferably have experience on SAS or R or Bigdata or Python along with experience of BI tools

- Should have strong data handling, interpretive and problem-solving skills with the ability to process large volume of transaction level data and efficiently derive actionable results.

- Should have good project management skills while working with both internal and external partners. Good Interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are a must.

- Ability to work effectively with senior leadership/management and a wide set of stakeholders

- Banking Analytics experience esp. wholesale banking products is preferred, but not mandatory for talented candidates
