Process Overview

FAKC (Finance and Accounting Knowledge Center) was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support and Supply Chain Management.

Over the years, the scope of FAKC has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.

Job Description

This is a senior lead role in FAKC. The team conducts financial analysis of various entities across industries. The team interacts with US stakeholders and present the analysis done by them. This analysis helps in taking executive decisions pertaining to those entities.

Review and analysis of financial strength of various global (primarily US) entities. The successful candidate should have the knowledge and experience to:

- Perform financial/ credit analysis using established guidelines

- Work with industry standard commercial credit risk rating tools and methodologies

- Present the analyses of companies to management and business partners

- Review and analyze the research done by the analysts

Responsibilities

- Analyze financial statements using industry standard tools

- Perform review of credit analysis done by the team

- Prepare write up on the financial health and trend of companies

- Participating in business review meetings with senior management of companies

- Work closely with global stakeholders

- Participating in special projects as a project lead or resource

Requirements

Education- : Bachelor degree in Commerce, MBA (Finance) /CA/ CFA

Certifications,if any

Experience Range- : Minimum 12 years of experience

Mandatory skills- :

- Strong understanding of financial statements and ratios

- Experience in reviewing credit history of entities

- Diligent with attention to details

- Familiar with credit rating tools like Moody- s, S&P etc

- Basic knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to write for business, particularly for the financial community

- Exhibition of leadership and teamwork

- Strong people leading skills

Desired skills- :

- Proven ability to apply business knowledge creatively for identification of potential solutions to business issues

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and meet deadlines

Shift timings - Monday to Friday 12:30 PM till 11:30 PM IST (9 hour window within the given time slot)
