AVP - Coverage - Real Estate, Realty, Retail, Consumer Tech & Ports, Airports, Consumer and Hospitality

Key Responsibilities:

- Sector and Industry Mapping

- Business development for target sectors / clients across public and private market deals

- Preparation of pitch books & presenting to the clients, developing the positioning & building deal theses

- Building relationships with key players and decision makers in the sector

- Tracking key developments in the Sector & Target Companies

- Drive the transaction with the team & assist in the development of complex financial models

- Interaction with Research / IBD Product / Sales teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions

- Responsible to overview the due diligence, analysis and documentation of live transactions

- Maintain databases and case studies of transactions in the relevant sector/product

Relevant Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision

- Self-driven with ability to work long hours under tight deadlines with very high attention to detail

- Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events

- Well versed with key Financial and Analytical skills, Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Familiarity with

Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters:

- Top notch interpersonal skills and ability to hold conversation at CXO level; ability to articulate complex thoughts in a clear, concise and compelling manner

- Experience of strong relationship in Corporate Banking or selling at least two of the four IBD products - ECM, M&A, Private Equity and Structured Finance

- Organize work, manage multiple projects, coordinate with different people, meet deadlines; ability to work efficiently with different teams

- Drive things for a successful closure

- Positive attitude, Ability to listen, learn and understand

Experience: The candidate must have 5-8 years of relevant experience in IB - Coverage Real Estate, Realty, Retail, Consumer Tech & Ports, Airports, Consumer and Hospitality
