Assistant Vice President - Corporate Audit

JD :

- Drafting Annual Audit Plan / FTE / Cost budgets

- Executing the annual audit plan.

Specifically:

- Perform audits of identified auditable entities in the capacity of field in charge / a team member.

- Understand the function of auditable entity and draft ‘Terms of Reference’ and ‘Audit Planning Memorandum’.

- Perform field work and identify audit issues, analyze root cause, impact and practical recommendations.

- Conduct exit meetings with the auditee, seek initial responses for the audit observations and prepare minutes of the meetings.

- Draft the audit report for seeking Management’s final responses.

- Ensure audit work is completed and documented in accordance with the required standards, time lines and KPIs.

- Review the work done by the auditors / resolve reviewer’s comments.

- Ensure to keep the Audit Risk to the Minimum.

- Build a cohesive team and develop their technical skills and personal effectiveness.

- Maintain cordial working relationships with various functions of IVL.

- Complete ad-hoc assignments as requested.

- Attend Risk Committee, Audit Committee meetings; administrative tasks, etc in case Head – CAS is on leave.

Candidate Profile :

- Handling/analyzing data preferably using audit tools

- Good understanding of audit techniques as well as a good perception of risks and controls.

- Prior Insurance, Banking and Investment business audit experience.

- Professional certification (ACA) preferably with Audit related qualification (CIA/CISA) and at least 9-10 years of relevant experience.
