AVP - Corporate Action - BFSI

The candidate will be part of SBO team & will perform Income and Corporate action activities . The candidate requires expertise or competency in the domain, key policies & processes The candidate will be responsible to perform accurate and timely delivery for all fund types, in accordance with industry, company and client standards.

The team uses the BaNCS application. TCS BaNCS is a core banking software suite developed by Tata Consultancy Services for use by retail banks

It includes functions for universal banking, core banking, payments, wealth management, forex and money markets, compliance, insurance, securities processing, custody, financial inclusion, Islamic banking and treasury operations. There are also modules that deal with capital markets and the insurance business.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate is expected to perform Simple and Complex corporate action activities.

- Subscription/Redemption Processing

- Corporate Action Processing -Validate Corporate Actions, confirm its impact & subsequent changes in market value

- Collecting and relay any update related to the corporate event on an on- going basis.

- Corporate actions processing with in line with Tax complication

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree with exposure to finance and/or Accounting, Corporate actions, Income and settlement process.

Skills:

- Knowledge on financial instruments & life cycle of investment product particularly from Settlements, Income and Corporate actions.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. Macro coding in Excel is an added advantage
