Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible to manage PAN India projects Procurement and Contracts
- Provides leadership, management and professional expertise in procurement, supply & sub contracts management including vendor management and contract management in line with project policies and budget
- Identify strategic sourcing initiatives including pre & post qualification of agencies / vendors
- To reduce spending and negotiations
- Develop and implement procurement and contract strategy
- Develop and Maintain the vendor management system
- Create strong performance metrics to monitor cost effectiveness of procurement and contract services
- Ensure timely placement of contracts and delivery
- Manages the formulation and finalization of all system contracts as required in coordination with legal counsel and as per law
- Ensure all contracts are as per best practices, in line with policies & procedures and government regulations
- Identify and mitigate the company risk exposure through contract evaluation and negotiations
- Ensure strong business controls in all procurement activities including cost management and cost tracking
- Ensure proper maintenance of documentation of WO's / Services Contracts in hard copy and also in system
- Develops and upgrades requisitioning and payables processes for service contracts, long term agreements to establish standard process across projects
- Manage team effectively
- Ensure all the projects order placements in line with project budgets
- Ensure to reduce spend/control on cost as per Annual business plan
Key Skills:
- Experience: 12 - 15 years
- Education: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech - Civil Engineering/MBA in construction Management
- Hands on experience in civil material Contracts & Subcontracts Management in Real Estate Industry
- Minimum of 12 years of work experience with procurement, contract and supply management with at least 5 years spent in a leadership role
- Experience in drafting, negotiating, executing, and managing contracts/service agreements
- Experience in managing Service/Turnkey/Third party contracts
- Experience in budget planning and implementation experience in Vendor management including procurement responsibilities and cost-effective use of 3rd party consultants
- Good with Project Procurement Tools
- Expertise in Vendor and Contractor Management
- Should have team handling experience
- Good communication skills
