As a AVP/Chief Manager - Products, you will be responsible for ensuring that our current product portfolio stays relevant to our targeted customer segment, is in line with the vision statement of the company and remains competitive in the environment we operate in.
What you will do:
- Keeping oneself abreast of changing market scenarios so that existing products are periodically updated to remain relevant on our value proposition
- Ensuring new products are launched for reaping market opportunities that align with our overall mission and vision
- Driving above business objectives, in terms of disbursement, AUM and portfolio quality with appropriate training/marketing support
- Driving new initiatives and product lines to build the overall business of the company that cuts across the MSME space
- Monitoring, tracking and delivering Product KPIs Volumes, PAR/NPA in line with PPR for each individual product segment
- Monitoring branch performance variance to KPIs and ensuring struggling branches are provided adequate support
- Liaising with other stakeholders in driving the overall Product Strategy (Buildup to execution)
- Implementing and handholding of new products across specified locations
- Conducting training sessions about new products and also strengthening existing product information
- Enabling the field forces to sell the product to target customers and staying in regular touch with them
- Identifying the weak areas/revenue loss segment and taking corrective measures by engaging different stakeholders
- Routine research & competitive landscape understanding to improvise existing product propositioning or launching new product
- Liaising with Credit & Policy team for enhancement/modification & rollout of new products
- Liaising the IT team for system development/enhancement of the products
- Reviewing product for its strengths & weaknesses
- Analysing data details (internal/external) for enhancing the product propositioning
- Defining product related MISs for keeping all the stakeholders abreast
- Planning and evaluating campaigns about the existing and new products in association with marketing team
- Routine progress report/deck preparations for management review
What you need to have:
- Minimum 5-10 years work experience with NBFC/Bank
- Prior experience in retail sales and in various stages of designing, developing and launching products
- Ability to understand field/customers requirements & ability to convert that into product propositioning
- Excellent Excel skills
- Excellent understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet & PPRs
- Ability to derive the Product and Branch profitability in liaison with the Finance team
- Ability to generate innovative solutions in work situations
- Ability to try different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities
- Ability to deal with others in difficult and complex situations to achieve resolution
- Comfort with fast paced environment and flexibility with both strategic and tactical areas
- Ability to take prompt action to accomplish objectives
- Ability to take action to achieve goals beyond what is required
