Role Overview:


We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Category Manager to lead the growth of our D2C Motor or Health & Travel Insurance business (Benefit and indemnity products for all customer segments). This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of health insurance, customer needs and a passion for leveraging digital channels to drive business growth. The Category Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to develop and execute strategies that enhance our market presence, improve customer experience, and achieve business objectives.

Job Description:

- Business Performance: Drive the growth and performance of the direct-to-customer Motor or health & travel insurance line of business through the company's website, app, and cross-sell opportunities.

- Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive strategies to grow the D2C Motor or health insurance business. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

- Product Development: Leveraging your domain understanding and first principles thinking to drive new product development / enhancements to existing products, which are more suitable for digital customers and distribution

- Performance Tracking: Monitor day-to-day performance metrics to ensure monthly targets are met. Work with different teams to optimize the online sales funnel and improve conversion rates.

- Customer Experience: Leverage consumer research and feedback to continuously improve the online customer experience and meet expectations in terms of ease of use, clarity, and convenience

- Analytics: Utilize data analytics to track the success of growth initiatives. Generate insights from data to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across underwriting, product management, technology, digital marketing, analytics, sales contact center, and claims.

Qualification: MBA.

Competencies Required

- Digital Business Experience: Proven track record of driving business growth through digital channels. Strong understanding of digital marketing, eCommerce, and data analytics

- Strategic Thinking: Critical and strategic thinking with a customer-centric and results- oriented mindset.

- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L drivers.

- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Excellent collaboration skills across various stakeholders.

- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make decisions.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and driving results.
