AVP - Cash Management - Inv Bank

We have and AVP level opportunity with Leading Investment Bank for Mumbai location.

The Cash Management team is responsible for projecting net cash positions across currencies and ensuring that the Nostro accounts are adequately funded by working with respective treasury funding desks. The team ensures adequate availability of cash to support the timely settlement of trades as per requirement for optimal utilization as efficiently as possible.

- Manage delivery in cash/treasury management ensuring SLA adherence.

- Identify potential risk areas and ensure implementation of effective controls

- Build and maintain strong relationship with stake holders

- Play a lead role in any “change the bank” projects involving the functional area owned by the team

- Establish effective working relationships with peer group, and internal clients.

- Primary/secondary escalation point for all process issues for the markets/processes in scope

- Continually look for improvements to processes and controls within functional area.

- Managing all internal and external Audits and risk reviews

- Ensure that all process documentation is complete and reviewed regularly

- Review and control of the all the daily/monthly/weekly process MIS and reports.

- To ensure that there is adequate cross training within the team, and sufficient backups are available for each process

- Employee engagement and career planning, grooming of staff, and performance management

Key Skills:

- Subject matter expertise on multiple markets

- Proven track record of having successfully managed different processes/ multiple teas

- Leadership skills, People and conflict management, Mentoring and coaching skills.

- Ability to handle pressure, high volume and risk.

- Understanding of the different currency markets

- Prior experience of 1-2 years in Cash/Treasury Management

- Networking and relationship management is desired

- Quality/Process improvement/Change management experience.

- Graduate/Post Graduate with minimum 6-10 yrs experience in Investment Banking operations, with 1-2 years experience in Cash/Treasury Management.

- Proven track record of having team management experience
