AVP - Business Manager - BFSI

Principal Accountabilities:

Impact on the Business

- Identify key operational challenges and formulate initiates to minimize them, garners support from relevant stakeholders and tracks & monitor progress.

- Act as project manager for identified strategic initiatives ensuring follow-through and sustaining momentum needed to drive initiatives to completion.

- Assist risk analytic team in establishment of ''end to end'' ownership of operational risks, controls, and processes by monitoring the ongoing effectiveness of key controls.

- Partner with business leaders including line managers and HR colleagues to drive people strategies along with appropriate organizational effectiveness interventions when required.

- Provide ongoing analysis and decision support to the team to improve productivity and governance.

Customers / Stakeholders

- Demonstrated ability to deal with highly confidential information and act as a liaison between analytic center leadership team and other constituencies, both internal and external.

- Role requires regular interaction and working with senior members (Band 4 and above) with analytic center and across regions.

Leadership & Teamwork

- While the role will not have any direct reports, he/she must exhibit the skills to collaborate with and achieve actionable results through others, the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships and the capability to interact within all levels of the organization.

Operational Effectiveness & Control

- Create strong processes and controls to minimize operational risks.

- Identify areas of redundancy and facilitate development of enterprise-wide solutions that can deliver sustainable saves

Requirements:

1. Master’s Degree.

2. Minimum experience of 8+ years demonstrating strong trouble shooting and creative solution skills.

3. Project management background.

4. Excellent communication skills and project management skills.

5. Strong analytical skills with an ability to grasp new concepts quickly.

6. Good organizational, analytical, problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills.
