Job Responsibilities:
As a Business Development/Investor Relations professional you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of the company. Your primary responsibility will be to support the CEO and the Transaction Head in various business development and investor relations activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead Generation & Market Research:
Identify and generate leads within the five core sectors (Hospitals, Agriculture, FMCG, Defense, IT & Ecommerce, Infrastructure) for potential investment opportunities. Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities and assess market trends.
- Fundraising & Investment Strategy:
Identify fundraising opportunities and develop strategic plans to attract investments from FPIs, FDIs, and domestic institutional investors. Collaborate with the Transaction Head to execute fundraising strategies effectively.
- End-to-End Deal Execution:
Manage the complete lifecycle of investment deals, from initial contact to final closure. This includes due diligence, negotiation, and coordination with legal, financial, and regulatory teams.
- Investor Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors, providing them with regular updates, reports, and insights into market trends and investment opportunities.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Conduct financial analysis, including valuation, financial modeling, and risk assessment, to support investment decisions. Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and investment proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Client & Stakeholder Management:
Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and that they are kept informed of all relevant developments.
- Strategic Planning & Reporting:
Assist the CEO in strategic planning and decision-making by providing insights and analysis on market trends, competitor activity, and potential investment opportunities. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and corporate finance.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, valuation techniques, and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the investment sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
