The Project:
ADAC decommissioning project is part of Core Finance System program with a key objective of replacing the in house built ADAC application which supports the core close management and monthly financial close activities. The project also aims to identify the solution for performing financial disclosure reporting and enable legal entity controllers to perform their month end closing and reporting efficiently.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
Overall Experience Range - 8 to 11 years
- To work as a Business Analyst reporting into a Project Manager within the project
- Extensive interactions with Business and IT would be required to define business requirements are and design approaches
- Responsible for preparing Business analysis and communication plan
- Assist Project managers with driving the project plan and activities
- Responsible for the gathering of business requirements, documentation of the business requirements including putting forward recommendations for solutions, where required
- Preparation of test plans, test cases, co-ordinating with users and IT during the testing phase
- Execution of specific test cases
- Preparation of the documentation and steps for deployment, including user training where required
There will be periods where extended working hours and/or weekend work will be required to meet deadlines.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting / IT
- 4+ years of strong experience in Group Finance Accounting and Reporting area
- SME in the area of statutory and regulatory reporting is an advantage
- Experience of working with ADAC, GLASS, CART, PeopleSoft GL, etc. is must
- Good understanding of CS accounting policies and US/CH/CAD GAAP is required
- Having knowledge of end-to-end process is desired
- Experience of working on projects is considered as a plus
