JOB PURPOSE:-
The incumbent will be responsible for Brand and Marketing strategy, planning and execution of marketing plans to deliver business objectives. He/She will work in close co-ordination with the stakeholders across the business like Product, Channel Sales, Customer Service, Operations, PR, Research and Analytics teams to help deliver the brand promise across channels and consumer touch points.
Key Task & Activities:-
Marketing Strategy Development & Planning
- Develop the Marketing Strategy and define future direction for the Brand
- Designing, aligning and planning marketing campaigns basis business objectives
- Overall ATL Campaign Planning (Planning, Budgeting, Calendar Finalization and Innovations)
- Analyzing market, competition and consumer behavior with to deliver insights and inputs into communication planning and development
- Maintain / Enhance Brand Awareness and Equity score
- Provide Campaign development support to teams (Product, Experiential Marketing, Campaign and DBM teams etc)
Campaign Implementation
- Ensure alignment of creative agency to brand essence and future brand direction
- Development and testing of creative, communication concepts and routes
- Ensuring alignment and relevance of all creative / communication to customer needs
- Campaign Implementation - Co-ordination with Creative, Media & Online Agencies
- Ensuring creative / communication deliver on brand objectives
- Adherence to Campaign and Media deadlines
- Campaign Execution - Monitoring & Supervision - Quality & Accuracy
- Innovations on new media
Agency Relationship / Vendor / Internal Dept. Management
- Level of coordination with key business partners
- Adherence to operational processes
- Adherence to accounting (billing & payment) processes
- Overall Agency & Vendor Management & Performance
Audit & Compliance
- Knowledge of all processes for Brand, Accounting, Risk, Audit and IRDA compliance
- Follow all laid down processes and compliance norms (Internal & External)
- Spends and Provisions Tracking & Reporting
Team Development
- Development of individuals in team
- Team performance management"
Years of Experience
- A proven track record of performance with at least 7-9 years of increasing brand management and marketing responsibility
- Minimum of 4 yrs of experience in brand positioning and concept development, marketing planning including growth plans, brand guidelines, communication and activation
Type of Experience
- Good foundation marketing experience in FMCG, Telecom and have then moved on to other more dynamic sectors
- Need to have actively managed brand building and have exposure to portfolio development (master brand + variant s/ sub brands)
