Job Description :

Role - AVP (BigData Architect)

Context : We are moving the data from other data sources to BigData/Hadoop and that's where we are looking to on board a BigData Architect ( AVP level)

Requirements :

- Person should have hands-on experience on the all the different layers of BigData ecosystem

Data Massaging & Storage Layer :

- HBASE

- Mongo DB/Cassanda/Amazon Dynamo DB (one/more of them)

Processing & Analysis Layer :

- MapReduce, PIG, HIVE

- Elastic Search

Data Integration :

- SQOOP/ FLUME - these are data integration tools

Technological/ Framework needs :

- Hortonworks Hadoop (HDFS, YARN, AMBARI, OOZIE) data platforms

- Good Working Knowledge of any one among R and Python

Good to have : Domain experience (Investment banking)

Behavioral Skills :

- Ability to work in a cross cultural team with multi geographical locations.

- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively with counterparts and vendors on technical topics

- Good understanding of design and development standards

- Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication, and collaboration skills
