AVP/Associate Director - Fund Accounting - Private Equity

- Lead end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for assigned private equity funds, ensuring precision, adherence to regulatory standards, and timely delivery.

- Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of financial statements, NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and investor reports.

- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as investment professionals, legal counsel, and external service providers, to ensure seamless fund operations.

- Engage in the fund valuation process and contribute to the preparation of performance reports for stakeholders.

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements following GAAP/IFRS standards.

- Monitor fund expenses, oversee fee calculations, and ensure compliance with fund documents and agreements.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, cultivating a collaborative and growth-centric work environment.

Requirements :

- Preferred qualifications include a CA (Chartered Accountant) or MBA from a reputable institute.

- Over 20 years of progressive experience specifically in fund accounting within the private equity industry.

- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards pertinent to private equity funds.

- Strong grasp of fund structures, investment instruments, and valuation methodologies.

- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Advent Geneva, Excel).

- Exceptional analytical abilities with a meticulous focus on detail and accuracy.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across various teams.
