Job Description
The position will closely work with the Fund Manager and team and will be primarily responsible for end to end transaction management.
Responsibilities:
- Senior-level engagement execution on assignments.
- Hands on responsibility of Client & Target Management.
- Transaction process design and implementation.
- Participate in preparation of firm presentations, client offering memoranda, and client management presentations.
- Management of due diligence and negotiation process.
- Leading new business development / origination efforts.
- Effectively and efficiently monitoring the activities of the Analyst on a regular basis including review of their operational performance and adherence to the investment case; highlight deviations for further action.
- Networking with industry contacts and advisors to source new business.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Minimum 8-10 years of prior work experience in Investment Banking.
- MBA from a Tier 1 Institute
- Track record of originating, executing, and closing M&A transactions in an advisory capacity.
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented candidates with strong accounting, finance, modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Keen interest in the financial markets and good commercial instincts with Superior understanding of and ability to critique and evaluate financial analysis and modeling
- Strong combination of organizational and interpersonal/communication skills
