Senior Manager - Agency (DSF) MIS @ Gurgaon

Background:

Business Analytics & Intelligence is a key strategic bet for Aviva India and is expected to become a key differentiator compared to other players in the industry.

While Business Analytics team has been in place since 2010, we are in process of creating a central Business Intelligence team. This is an exciting opportunity to be an active part of a transformation and leading it across various functions in a MNC.

Job Description:

- Lead BI strategy and agenda across Agency (DSF) MIS and other functions.

- Creation of single source of truth for all MIS & reporting across these functions

- A key member for overall BI strategy.

- Bring higher degree of automation to disseminate accurate, timely and customized information to identified users as per defined frequency.

- Lead planning & KPI target dissemination for Agency (DSF) hierarchy

- Ensure timely resolution of queries from Branches / support functions

- Support R & R delivery vis-à-vis, contest driven operational MIS/ winner’s collation for each contest and Analysis of each contest.

- Preparation of variable payments to business partners and sales team as per the approved structures.

- Design as well as liaise with IT to provide critical business inputs and support in conceptualizing, developing and implementing new business systems.

- Understand the business processes and support the sales team to achieve their deliverables in terms of sales parameters.

- Lead the implementation of various analytical solutions in coordination with Business Unit, IT and Operations.

Desired Profile:

- M.B.A. from Tier 1&2 colleges with 4+ years of MIS / analytics experience

Skills/ Knowledge:

- Strong analytical skills, logical reasoning, numerical capabilities (Data interpretation and comfort with numbers), and structured thinking are a must.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written & presentation) and stakeholder management are pre-requisite for the role

- Strong networking and influencing skills required.

- Strong People Management Skills

- Good negotiation skills required.

- Domain knowledge of insurance space is advantageous.

Technical skills:

- MS Word, MSPowerpoint

- Advanced Excel required (basic understanding of macros)

- Knowledge of SAS, Qlikview, MS Access, SQL, Oracle is advantageous
