Job Purpose:
Develops products by identifying potential products; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction; developing promotion strategies etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze various market segments/regions and collaborate with leadership to choose the best ones to pursue in the business Space.
- Develop a year on year roadmap for our products to illustrate our vision and plan into the future
- Develop and maintain a business proposal that ensures maximum conversion into the newly launched products
- Collaborate with other stakeholders such as product marketing on the creation of positioning for your products
- Develop value added products & services for the business to increase product per portfolio for customer stickiness.
- Create user stories for current and future products based on the market's problems.
- Manage the entire product line life cycle from launch to drive in the business.
- Know why we are winning and losing in the market, and drive changes to our product and processes to create improvement.
- Have a pulse of the competition, and develop strategies and tactics to reduce the threat.
- Design Contests, Incentives for the Sales Team and ensure their success
- Provide Regular Training and Support to the Sales Team
Key Accountabilities:
- Design and execute timely product schemes to gain market share and ensure sustained profitability
- Drive pricing parameter set at the business level through proper design of the scheme chart to manage yield targets
- Prepare budget in coordination with Finance and Business Head basing the requirement
- Review actual against budget in all aspects, productivity, profitability, top-line and bottom line and minute analysis of P&L
- Build various incentive scheme for various stakeholders and analyse the utilization aligned to profitability
- Drive quality aspects like Audit query clearance, risk clearance through business channels.
- Competitor analysis and obtain market intelligence for competitive advantage
- Work closely with Operations and Audit to create proper sync between quality and business requirements as well smooth functioning of the business activities and branch performance.
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in product management
- BFSI exposure is mandatory for 5+ years
- Has experience in leading teams
Required Qualifications:
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 MBA
- BE in graduation will be desirable
