We conduct customer satisfaction & retention (CSAT/NPS), Brand perception, Linguistic check, Competitive intelligence, Customer segmentation, Concept testing, Trend identification, Consumer engagement research and opportunity assessment studies for reputed Indian and multinational corporations across sectors.
ROLE
- This role provides plenty of room for growth and involves all aspects of research starting from data capture, analysis and also exposure to client engagement.
- You are expected to unearth the stories behind scatter plots and help clients understand their target audience better. Your insights will influence the decisions of some of today's leading global companies.
- You will work under a Director/VP for various research assignments and engage in all aspects of research and evaluation, provide directions to various projects, and collaborate with other staff.
- Activities will include collecting data/information (by travelling and/or telephone interviews), organizing, and analyzing data; preparing reports; developing research and evaluation proposals; supporting Director/VP/EVP in managing projects timelines.
RESPONSIBILITY
- Handling the entire research process (including operations and logistics- including RQ, DG) for the team with little supervision
- Carry out all the research coordination required with client, field (in-house team/ self) and other research partners, whenever required
- Conduct In-depth interviews and focus group discussions
- Analysis and transcription of groups
- Work on draft presentations/reports
- Primary Research: Conduct In-person/Telephonic interviews in India or overseas with or without interpreter. Domestic travel will be an integral part of the role (as and when required) to conduct face- to-face interviews with industry experts
- Secondary Research: Searches of published information database containing financial information, paid database and brokerage report, and internet searches
- Cleanse/Format data gathered through Primary and Secondary research to ensure availability of useable data
- Perform data entry using formatted databases
- Tabulation/charting of findings and drawing out inferences based on collected data
- Work on draft presentations/reports
- Support Project Manager/s in designing and preparing final Report Presentation using data/information gathered through primary and secondary research
- Support Project Manager by managing Juniors and executing simpler and shorter assignments with minimum or no supervision
- Assist EVP/VP/Director in project related activities and Business Development
- Manage multiple research work streams
- Meet client's delivery expectation
- Effectively delegate work, manage and train team
- Ensure on-time and error free delivery
- Analyze findings and write the report
SKILL SETS
- Good communication skills (written & verbal communication in English)
- Ability to work against tight deadlines
- Ability to work on unstructured projects somewhat independently
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Expertise, or great comfort with numbers & primary research
- Working knowledge of various statistical tools will be an added advantage
- Foreign Language Proficiency will be added advantage, but may not be necessary

Market research / Consulting or industry experience relevant to the job
