Equity :
- Develop and implement strategies for managing the company's equity, including investor targeting, capital structure optimization, and shareholder analysis.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance, legal, and executive teams, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to equity management.
- Co-ordinate investor roadshows and prepare appropriate documentation for use during fundraising periods
- Support in equity fundraising through due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of potential equity / acquisition transactions.
- Monitor and analyses equity market trends, investor sentiment, and industry dynamics to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate equity transactions, including stock issuances, buybacks, and equity-based compensation plans.
Investor relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the company's shareholders, investors, and analysts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and rating agencies.
- Proactively communicate the company's strategy, financial performance, and industry developments to investors and the financial community.
- Coordinate investor meetings, conference calls, roadshows, and other investor-related events.
- Prepare and distribute investor communications, including earnings releases, investor presentations, and annual reports.
Corporate Governance and Compliance:
- Analyze financial data, market trends, and peer benchmarking to provide insights and recommendations for investor relations strategies.
- Prepare and present financial analysis, including key performance indicators, valuation metrics, and investor relations metrics, to senior management and the board of directors.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and disclosure.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of financial and industry-related news on the company's stock performance and investor sentiment
Crisis Management and Investor Communications:
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address potential investor concerns or adverse events.
- Manage investor inquiries and requests promptly, providing accurate and transparent information.
- Collaborate with the executive team and corporate communications to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with the company's overall communication strategy.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 10 to 15 yrs experience of handling equity and invertor relation (India & abroad) with Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.
- Securities and Capital Markets Certification from institutes like NCFM (Desirable)
- Extensive experience in equity management, investor relations, or related financial roles, preferably within the renewable energy industry or the broader energy sector.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, investor relations best practices, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with investors, analysts, and executives.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, including financial modelling, valuation, and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of securities laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Proficiency in financial software, data analytics tools, and MS Office suite
- Background in Clean Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Chemicals, Capital Goods, Manufacturing companies preferable
- Mobility required - Willingness to travel in India and abroad.
