Avaada - Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

1. Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends especially Equity (Direct / convertibles / Structured instruments linked to Equity)

2. Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of potential equity / acquisition transactions.

3. Track and analyse peers' performance for competitor analysis. Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps. Conduct comparables analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis

4. Track, maintain database and analyse Research Analyst reports, operational performance, financial performance changes, Earnings changes, Sector reports from brokerage houses for the competing listed companies

5. Track and analyse the investors portfolio, shareholding analysis

6. Maintain a database of peer companies, investors, research analysts and other intermediaries

7. Understand funds flow analysis to capital markets

8. Maintain MIS, reports and presentations related to capital markets activities

9. Compile inputs for annual operating plan and target setting in consultation with business teams and translating them into budgeted sales/P&L/Balance Sheet/Cash flows

10. Perform variance analysis between plans and actuals - quarterly, semi-annually and annually

11. Support management reviews with stakeholders for performance tracking against budget through reviews including commentary on financial as well as non-financial parameters

12. Assist in other assignments as & when needed

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 2 to 4 years of work experience with background of capital markets, financial analysis, investor relations departments for listed companies

- Understanding of Annual Reports, Sustainability Reports, Valuation and Audit report

- Working Knowledge of Excel (incl. advance Excel) and other MS Office packages like analyzing datasets MS Power BI, PPT, Word Tables & Charts)

- Team player, analytical bend

- Educational Qualification : MBA / CA / Masters in Management / Accounting / Finance / Business Analytics etc.

- Securities and Capital Markets Certification from institutes like NCFM (Desirable)

- Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail is a must, Team player

- Background in Clean Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Capital Goods, Manufacturing companies preferable

- Understanding of Equity capital markets desirable
