1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the open access solar segment, with a focus on commercial and industrial consumers.
2. Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue targets and increase market share for assigned area/state/customers.
3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential customers, government officials, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to refine the company's value proposition.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project feasibility, conduct financial modeling, and develop competitive proposals for prospective clients.
6. Lead the negotiation and finalization of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
7. Stay updated on industry developments, policy changes, and market dynamics related to open access solar regulations and incentives.
8. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company's services and establish strategic partnerships.
9. Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, pipeline, and revenue projections to senior management.
10. Collaborate with the operations and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
1. Sound knowledge of the Indian renewable energy market, including open access regulations, policies, and market dynamics.
2. Strong network of contacts in the commercial and industrial sector, including potential customers, industry associations, and relevant government bodies.
3. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels.
