The Role :
- We are looking for a Human Resources Geo Partner for Autodesk India. The eligible candidate in this role will be responsible for providing Geo HR Coverage and Employee Relations Support employees in India out of our Pune office.
- The incumbent will provide HR support to the business in the delivery of organizational solutions for employees. This role will contribute to evolving and delivering the core HR practices established at Autodesk while contributing at a hands-on level to represent and cultivate Autodesk's culture.
- This role requires the individual to have strong understanding of HR practices and is able to provide managers and employees with guidance in relation to HR policies and procedures.
- Reporting into the Senior Human Resources Manager, Geo HR & Employee Relations - APAC, this role will have direct interaction and engagement with the employees as well as managers and leaders.

- The role of the HR Geo Partner will be focused on three key areas :
Employee Experience :
- Onboarding & Exits : May conduct a wide variety of onboarding activities such as NEO and implementing the - Buddy- Program. Conduct exit interviews and summarizes results for HR Business Partner and business unit/division management.
- Talent Acquisition : (As applicable to location) Partner with the TA Organization/ recruiters in being subject matter experts on local law and parity in the country. Help facilitate creating an offer with TA team/ Hiring manager (including sign-on bonus and equity).May recommend appropriate job and level.
- HR Programs Knowledge Sharing & Coaching : May help in building manager capability by delivering education/ lunch and meet sessions on areas like performance matters, C&B philosophy, New Employment Framework, Workday. May also educate clients on appropriate application of policies, programs and local laws.
- Employee Relations : Provide support, guidance, and counsel to HRBP and Managers on ER/HR related matters, including employee relations and employee reward matters. Assist employees and managers to resolve work-related conflicts through advice and recommendations. Counsel employees concerning work-related problems and issues.
- Site Engagement & Leadership : Serve on a site management team of Delcam to address employee survey results, crisis management, Corporate handling of Best Places to Work, (GPTW)
Operational Excellence :
- Integration : The incumbent in this role will provide HR leadership and support in integrating Delcam employees in India to ADSK. Starting from conducting and completing the organizational assessment in phase one to knowledge transfer and providing a consistent on-boarding experience.
- Programs and Processes : Provide sound and timely support by partnering with HR functional teams to deliver HR processes and programs, including (as applicable to location) offer letters, employment contracts, salary reviews, performance reviews, HR information updates, focal, RSU planning, performance management, benefits administration, compensation practices, employment legislation, and job description development.
- Promote self-service : Keep benefits brochures, personnel policies and procedures, and employee handbooks up-to- date & help creation of HR knowledge base for responding to tier 1 / tier 2 HR queries on key topics.
- HR Metrics and Trend Analysis : Provide advanced analysis to business unit/division management on a variety of human resource-related measures and contribute to recommendations to improve results.
- Business Specific HR Program Support: Contribute to program/project implementation and execution.
Knowledge of HR/ Local Laws/ Governance :
- Regulatory and Legal Compliance : Provide local expertise and guidance to the business regarding current regulatory changes impacting HR by partnering with Payroll, Tax, Benefits, Legal and Audit. Address and escalate improper actions immediately to reduce company risk and exposure.
- Serve as point of contact for external stakeholders in geographical sites such as Labor Offices and HR Service Providers. Depending on need, may do HR Audits and define the current and proposed state on a location- s/ region's ability to scale from an HR Readiness standpoint both in terms of labor laws and governance framework.
HR Geo Partner - may also :
- Assist in the execution of compensation objectives, workforce planning goals, HR policies and procedures.
- Partners with GEO HR Team & COEs to ensure that employee benefits programs are designed and renewed cost effectively.
- Monitor the recording and use of personal information in line with local and company Data Protection regulations.
- Partner w/ Global Mobility to relocate employees into and out of a specific geography.
- Serve on a Delcam site management team to address employee survey results, crisis management, Corporate handling of Best Places to Work, (GPTW)
Requirements for the role :
- 8+ years relevant HR domain experience: BA/BS or equivalent work experience; MBA and/or PHR/SPHR preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
