About the Role:
- This person will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day activities of one of more teams in Operations.
- Primary objective of the person will be to ensure smooth functioning of the team, optimize processes, maintain high quality standards an foster a positive working environment conducive to productivity and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
a. Lead & motivate the team, provide guidance, support and mentorship to achieve individual and collective goals
b. Set clear objectives, communicate expectations effectively and monitor performance regularly
c. Foster collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes creativity, innovation and continuous improvement
Operational Management:
a. Oversee all aspects of operations like data entry, case processing and inventory management
b. Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to streamline operations and enhance productivity
c. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and quality standards to deliver accurate and timely results
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
a. Track targets and metrices to assess team performance and identify areas of improvement
b. Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into operational efficiency, productivity and quality of service
c. Analyze data trends, identify root cause of issues and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement
Continual Improvement:
a. Drive team's agenda on continual improvement goals with active participation in initiative pertaining to process improvement or process automation
b. Engage actively with Client Servicing and Product teams to identify new opportunities to improve and execute them using latest of technology and products available
c. Aspire to be an industry-standard in whatever process / operation you lead.
Training & Development:
a. Co-ordinate training programs and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members
b. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback and support professional development plans
c. Identify training needs and opportunities for skill enhancement to ensure team members are equipped to perform their roles effectively
Compliance & Risk Management:
a. Ensure compliance with data protection polices and organization's and clients' policies around data privacy
b. Conduct regular audits and assessments to uphold compliance standards and drive a culture of accountability and responsibility
Must have work Experience:
- Proven experience in operations, preferably in B2B environment with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role and overall 8 years experience.
Qualification & Functional Skills:
- Engineering and MBA (from one of only leading institutes)
- Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire, motivate and empower team members to achieve goals and objectives.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities with a keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering high quality results
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with team members and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools, project management software and CRM systems
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make data driven decisions to improve operational performance
