Role Mandate

Role title: Senior Analyst, Client Insights & Solutions (CIS), Bangalore

Reports to (position): Manager, Insights & Solutions (CIS), Bangalore

Team/BU/Division: Client Insights & Solutions - International and Institutional Banking Grade: by JE team only.

Role purpose: Reporting to the Manager (Vertical), Client Insights & Solutions (CIS), Bangalore, this role will be responsible for supporting industry verticals in the CIS Bangalore team. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): working across the team's industry verticals, closely collaborating with the team to bring in deep industry insights and observations above and beyond data analytics. This role will be accountable for producing deep dive industry analysis and story boards with minimal supervision, produce industry-specific client insights process and outputs, provide operational training to the Analysts as required, oversight and quality check work completed by the Analysts, research and report on internal and external market and organisational information as well as self quality checks of own work with the ability to identify issues and resolutions.

As a Senior Analyst, this role will be pivotal in ensuring data integrity and deep industry insights that enhances the overall client presentation.

The role will partner with the team to identify opportunities for process improvement ideas and change initiatives that result in reduced effort where tools/templates developed are reusable. This role will also drive and manage close collaboration with onshore stakeholders to increase communication and information sharing that ensures we fully leverage the 'global' and 'shared' operating model that result in the development and utilisation of a robust database/data management system that is encapsulated by a standardised framework and processes relevant to ANZ geographies.

- Will be responsible to help ensure the project outcomes are consistent, error-free, of high quality and consistent with the ANZ client relationship group standards and branding

- Good knowledge of Corporate Financial concepts and Industry Best practices and how to apply these concepts in practical aspects

- Proactively manage internal and external stakeholder relationships for multiple geographies with a view to complete project story boards with minimum supervision

- Accountable for developing complex pitch books with deep industry analysis and insights in a particular industry vertical

- Proactively identify and raise project-related issues (via self quality check) to the Associate/Senior Analyst/Manager as appropriate

- Accountable for managing Analyst and industry overview of pitch books ensuring high quality delivery

- Responsible for working closely with the Associate and Manager to deliver accurate and error free

- Resolve and/or escalate matters to the Associate/Manager in a timely manner and ensure closure of issue

- Responsible for continuous improvements, including process ideas that result in reduced customer effort (i.e. automation of processes, streamlining of processes, etc)
