About : The position is a relationship management and sales role where the individual will take on the distributor and IFA sales & onboarding activities. The Business Development Manager is a sales and relationship management role responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Selling financial distribution companies the value proposition of Digital Gold
- In person meeting financial distribution companies and presenting them the product
- Responsible for achieving sales and onboarding targets.
- Should have connects with financial product distribution companies.
- Should be able to handle the tele sales team.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of IFAs through calling team.
- Be a problem solver and able to coordinate cross functionally.
- Maintain ties with existing clients and ensure new business.
- Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to meet revenue targets and increase market share.
- Identifying and prospecting potential clients through research, networking, and referrals.
- Conducting in-person and virtual meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present solutions that align with their business goals.
- Negotiating and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams such as product development, marketing, and customer support to deliver on client needs and ensure seamless onboarding.
- Staying up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
The desired candidate profile for this role may include :
- Strong sales and business development experience, preferably in a B2B context.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decision-making.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales tools, and digital marketing platforms.
- Someone who has worked in an AMC or Financial product Distribution Company
- Strong understanding of third-party investment products
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Well networked with large financial products distributor companies.
- The Business Development Manager should be a self-starter with a passion for sales and building relationships.
- They should have a keen understanding of the market, be able to identify new opportunities, and have the drive to pursue them.
- A successful candidate will have a strong business acumen, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to go above and beyond to exceed client expectations.
