Key Responsibilities:
Audit Planning:
- Develop and execute audit plans for credit card processes.
- Ensure audits are conducted timely and according to the plan.
Independent Review/Audit:
- Review the entire credit card lifecycle from sourcing to collections.
- Audit underwriting processes to ensure adherence to credit policies.
- Assess operations, product offerings, pricing strategies, and credit risk models.
- Analyze analytics functions and their alignment with industry benchmarks.
Compliance and Regulatory Review:
- Verify compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assess documentation adequacy and adherence to sanction processes.
- Review credit risk assessments and follow-up procedures.
- Identify early warning signals and recommend corrective actions.
Reporting and Escalation:
- Prepare audit reports based on findings and discuss issues with stakeholders.
- Escalate critical audit findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure reports are submitted within specified timelines.
Follow-up and Closure:
- Follow up on corrective actions post-audit report issuance.
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Ad Hoc Audits:
- Assist in conducting ad hoc audits as required by management.
Skills and Competencies:
- Audit Expertise: Strong understanding of audit principles, methodologies, and practices related to credit card operations.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze key performance indicators and trends, identifying deviations and areas for improvement.
