About our Client:

Our client is a leading global asset management firm with its operations in more than 40 countries. They are looking for a seasoned finance professional to join head their internal audit function for the group as a part of their continuous expansion globally.

Job Description:

- As the Audit Head for the group, you shall be responsible for:

- Preparation of Audit Programs

- Propose mitigating controls and key metrics to measure compliance

- Challenge the processes and recommend efficiency / productivity improvement

- Would be responsible for the detailed Audit calendar with the defined scope and its approvals

- Would review the internal Audits across all the locations during audits done by outsourced agencies, and prepare detailed analysis of the same on a quarterly basis

- Present executive summary to Senior Management and the Board of Directors

- Ensure all controls are in place for all the big ticket processes and install best practices in place and take the audit to next level

- Review the existing SAP system; suggest the controls and improvement areas

- Responsible for managing and handling the whole gamut of activities ranging from audit of finance, accounts functions, Statutory compliance etc.

- Special audit assignments as directed by Senior Management

- Validation of Financial Control Compliance Statements

The Successful Candidate:

- You are a CA with 12+ years of experience with considerable exposure to audits of the finance functions in a BFSI setup

- Also, you are fully conversant with the fundamentals of Financial controls in a Financial Services environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must and you have a track record of being adaptable and culturally aware.
