The Analytics Team @ AU is a bunch of young, enthusiastic and energetic people in pursuit of driving a positive data-led change in the financial services industry. And in the pursuit, we are looking for exceptional analytical thinkers and practical problem solvers who have a knack of using data driven insights and predictive models to solve complex business problems.

The role will have you engaged in leading a small team of data scientist to design, create, implement, and manage descriptive and predictive analytics that will leverage large set of existing customer data which includes their financial and behavioural performances, to create new insights and opportunities.

As part of a small team, where your interests and enthusiasm can have a major impact on business direction, you will innovate using a wide range of analytical tools, methods, and platforms.

Responsibilities

- Lead a team of data scientists to achieve KRAs defined for the team

- Train and guide the team on technical and functional aspects of the business

- Understanding the company data-schema and finding statistical/mathematical ways to use it for impacting company's top-line and bottom-line

- Identify areas of interest to the business, recognizing which models and concepts should be applied

- Cultivate the use of predictive modeling within the firm

- Acquire necessary data resources and creating and implementing those models

Requirements

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Very curious person, who simply loves data and enjoy diving deep into the material to find an answer to a yet unknown question

- Being able to work with potentially incomplete data sources and cleaning data sets to be able to use them
