Attero - Process Manager

- Be the SPOC for defining the user requirements including plant capacity, scope, features, flexibility requirements, client specific requirements etc.

- Oversee/ coordinate preparation of the complete technology package for the new capacity creation incl. coordination with the R&D & in-plant teams interaction with external entities for finalizing all process plant requirements

- Coordination of basic engineering/ detailed engineering with consultants to ensure technology transfer documentation

- Finalise equipment specifications & lead procurement action for equipment

- Enable smooth technology transfer thru' the project management team

- Lead Environmental Clearances for all plants

- Manpower planning, recruitment, training & putting together a commissioning/ operations team for Commercial operation of the new plants.

- Smooth transition to the operations team

- Provide requisite inputs for securing permissions in a timely manner to deliver the projects as per specifications, quality, time and cost

- Also, Anchor implementation of all new technologies & troubleshooting, as necessary, for meeting defined KPI's

- Draw up QC standards in consultation with all stakeholders including customers & be responsible for overall quality assurance

- Lead process optimization efforts with all stakeholders

Strategic:

- Support the COO/ Head - New Projects by establishing user requirements - plant capacity, scope, features, flexibility & client specific requirements etc and coordinate preparation of the complete technology docket

- Coordinate complete technology transfer & enable timely execution thru' the project team on budget followed by seamless transition from project to commercial production

- Support the Attero leadership team in all key technology and technical know-how decisions, as necessary

- Secure Environment clearances for all plant locations.

- Ensure knowledge transfer across envisaged sites as per Company's vision through documentation and optimal transition of resources

- Anchor implementation of all new technologies & troubleshooting, as necessary, for meeting defined KPI's

- Draw up QC standards in consultation with all stakeholders including customers & be responsible for overall quality assurance

New capacity creation:

- Be responsible for the new capacity creation as per user requirements comprising

- SPOC for defining the user requirements in terms of plant capacity, scope, features, flexibility & client specific requirements in coordination with Senior management/ Clients/ Business Development/ Supply Chain etc. including

- Preparation of the complete technology package incl. coordination with the R&D & in-plant teams for technology docket towards enabling technology transfer interaction with external entities for finalizing all process plant requirements

- Coordination of basic engineering/ detailed engineering with consultants for meeting of all capacity, technology requirements as well as readiness of technology transfer documentation

- Finalisation of equipment specifications & lead procurement action for equipment

- Enable smooth technology transfer thru' the project management team

- Complete responsibility for all technical documentation

- Manpower planning, recruitment, training & putting together a commissioning/ operations team to enable commercial operation of the new plants.

- Smooth transition to the operations team

- Provide requisite inputs for securing permissions in a timely manner to deliver the projects as per specifications, quality, time and cost.

Operational:

- Be responsible for capacity creation and commencement of Commercial Operations for the designated sites comprising:

- Selection of the basic, detailed engineering consultants

- Collaborate with Attero's internal R&D, in-plant team for the complete technology docket defining the functional requirements in terms of Capacity, scope, features, flexibility and customer requirements on the basic design and planning of the project which would serve as the input for the detailed engineering

- Enable technology transfer by coordination with all related entities .

- Review detailed engineering designs received from the consultants for feasibility, adherence to cost & quality and for meeting company's requirements

- Lead procurement action after signing off all equipment specification sheets .

- Ensure that the project development complies with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines, and all other applicable laws and statutes.

- Participate in Project Review meetings to ensure project execution is in line with user requirements.

- Lead corrective actions to ensure that project delivery is in line with user requirements.

- Co-ordinate with other departments on escalated matters to ensure quick resolution.

Lead Environmental Clearances from Authorities.

- Provide requisite inputs for timely preparation of all applications for permissions from requisite Authorities .

- Coordinate manpower planning, setting up the Operations team, recruitment actions, training, pre-commissioning works and smooth transition to the Operations team .

Financial:-

- Preparation/ Adherence to budgets .

- Ensure cost savings thru' value engineering in technology choices and procurement actions .

People:-

- Direct reports are Process engineer, Project engineer

- Responsible for coordination with all R&D/ in plant/ project team/ third party consultancy resources/ client/ Operations team.

- Foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation; mentor and coach subordinates to develop the team's capabilities.

- Ensure role clarity and allocate work accordingly.

Qualification:

Bachelors in Chemical Engineering.

12 - 15 years of work experience in a combination of roles covering Process engineering, procurement, Operations management of process plants with at least 3-5 years of experience in new plant locations
