Central Inventory Manager

- We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Central Inventory Manager to oversee the complete material flow within our dark stores, including inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics.

- This role requires strong coordination with procurement, warehouse teams, and last-mile delivery partners to maintain seamless operations.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing inventory accuracy, streamlining logistics, and ensuring an efficient supply chain process.

Key Responsibilities:

Inbound Operations:

- Manage the receipt of materials in dark stores, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to optimize shipment schedules.

- Implement quality control checks to prevent defective or non-compliant stock from entering inventory.

- Ensure proper documentation and system updates for all inbound materials.

Inventory Management:

- Maintain real-time inventory tracking across all dark stores.

- Implement efficient stock replenishment strategies to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

- Conduct periodic inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.

- Utilize data analytics to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.

Reverse Logistics:

- Oversee the returns and recalls process, ensuring defective or unsold stock is efficiently managed.

- Develop and implement procedures for the return, refurbishment, or disposal of inventory.

- Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and logistics teams to handle return shipments.

- Analyze return trends to identify root causes and implement corrective measures.

Outbound Operations:

- Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment for dispatch to customers or partner locations.

- Optimize packaging, labeling, and dispatch processes to enhance efficiency.

- Collaborate with logistics and last-mile delivery teams to prevent delays.

- Track outbound shipments and proactively resolve any discrepancies.

Process Optimization & Compliance:

- Develop and implement SOPs for inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics operations.

- Identify process bottlenecks and propose improvements for better efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

- Leverage technology and inventory management systems for improved visibility and control

- Proficiency in inventory management software (ERP, WMS, etc.).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
