What will you be doing at Atrium?
- The Director of IT is responsible for the overall management and direction of the IT department.
- This includes overseeing the development and implementation of IT strategies, policies, and procedures; managing the IT budget; and providing technical support to the organization's employees.
- The Director of IT must have a strong understanding of IT principles and practices, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals.
The Director of IT will:
- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives
- Work with leadership on developing risk management programs, including monitoring and enforcement of policies, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, and developing auditing capabilities covering key risk areas
- Manage the IT budget and ensure that IT resources are used effectively and efficiently
- Provide technical support to the organization's employees
- Oversee the development and implementation of IT security policies and procedures
- Manage the IT infrastructure, including cloud-based systems
- Procure, track, and manage assets such as laptops and servers across all locations
- Work with business stakeholders to identify and procure tools and software solutions required to support the organization's goals and growth
- Monitor IT performance and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies
- Represent the IT department to senior management and other stakeholders
- Willingness to "roll up sleeves" and help get things done in addition to managing strategy and direction.
In this role, you will have:
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in IT management
- Strong understanding of IT principles and practices
- Experience managing Google Workspace and Salesforce.com environments
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
