Operations Manager

We are currently looking for an Operations Manager with strong Investment Banking Operations experience, ready to work Night shifts for our Pune location.

ONLY INVESTMENT BANKING EXPERIENCE!!!!

People Management : Mandatory with a minimum 25+ team handled

Looking for people from a Third-party environment.

Skills :

- Manages 30-50 FTE team & has worked in the financial domain in outsourcing operations preferably in the third party set up

- Experience of ~5 years at TL+ level

- Has a knack for streamlining processes through automation, lean, and RPA projects

- Is metrics oriented and can provide data points to back initiatives in point 3 above

- Domain knowledge i.e. wealth & retirement back-office operations preferred but not mandated.

- More generically looking for experience in both reconciliations & reference data-related activities.

- Has participated in agreement on KPI discussions with clients

- Has transitioned projects from client location to India and is familiar with basic project management techniques - Gantt chart, process flow, RACI matrix, risk measurement, and mitigation

- Should be flexible in working hours/Night Shifts

- Ensuring email responses are swift and there are no escalations on non-responsiveness by the team.

- Identify possible escalations and be proactive in addressing them.

- All tasks should be completed by the team and signed off as defined in SLAs.

- Ensure that there is effective coordination between shifts and hands offs emails/requests are responded to first thing in respective shifts.

- Handling independently all internal and external calls to represent the team.

- Conducting weekly team meetings to ensure everyone is on the same page with respect to process updates and exceptions.

- Work allocation to team members and ensure all the BAU activities are completed as per defined SLAs.
