Forex Manager


Responsibility:


- Monitor and manage currency exchange rates to ensure optimal financial transactions for the travel agency.

- Execute timely currency exchanges to minimize financial risks and maximize cost-effectiveness.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets related to currency exchange and international transactions.

- Provide regular forecasts based on market trends and economic indicators.

- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks related to currency fluctuations and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.

- Stay informed about geopolitical events and economic factors that may impact foreign exchange rates.

- Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms with currency exchange providers and financial institutions.

- Sales & Marketing: Design an effective B2C/B2B Sales strategy to boost sale of all Currency exchange and Forex Cards.

- Liaise with marketing team for periodic marketing campaign, Social Media promotions and campaigns.

- Identify and connect with potential affiliates to grow our Forex trading community.

- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new members to join our platform.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize conversion rates and lead generation.

- Assist in the creation of engaging promotional materials and content.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.

- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with reliable forex partners.

- Proactive CRM with key contacts, customers, banks and vendors.

- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and maintain accurate documentation for all forex transactions.

- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to stay updated on regulatory changes.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on forex transactions, gains, and losses to the senior management team.

- Provide insights and analysis to aid strategic decision-making.

- Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for relevant staff members to enhance their understanding of forex operations and risk management.

- Stay updated on industry best practices and share knowledge with the team.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in forex management and implement efficient solutions.

- Stay abreast of technological advancements in forex tools and platforms.

- Customer Support: Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address client inquiries related to currency exchange and provide financial guidance.

- Emergency Response: Develop contingency plans for sudden currency fluctuations and provide timely responses to minimize financial impact.

- Team Management: Effective team management, motivation and monitoring of operational efficiency at all time. Assign teams for required training and self-development. Manage Team Rosters along with operations manager and team leader to ensure proper manning of sales and service staff.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/PG degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

- Proven experience in forex management within the travel or financial industry.

- Must be from an FFMC (preferably from AD 2) background with minimum 5 years' experience.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Analytical and decision-making skills with proper time management.

- Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance.
