Altisource has three primary business segments:
Mortgage Services - Mortgage portfolio management services that span the mortgage lifecycle (e.g. origination, valuation, closing and title services, default management services, asset management and component services)
Technology Products - REALSuite of applications (residential and commercial loan servicing, loss mitigation, vendor management and electronic invoice presentment and payment software) as well as our IT infrastructure services
Financial Services - Asset recovery and customer relationship management

Responsibilities:
- Understanding the data/system needs of the business and developing integrated MIS systems for creating reports to be presented to management
- Creation and maintenance of analytical tools to discover trends and track/analyze performance of operations and third-party service providers
- Providing analysis and working in ad hoc projects to facilitate process improvements and management decision making
- Developing a good understanding of the operations of all department processes and providing analytical support as needed
- Creation of MS Powerpoint presentations for senior management to facilitate decision making
Key Result Areas:
- Work in conjunction with the other team members in the gathering of the detailed reporting requirements
- Deliver all operations reports to management in a timely and accurate manner
- Understanding and customization of the tools used for the various processes
- Understand business process needs and develop process workflows
- Act as a liaison between various team members, both internal and external
- Drive organization-wide initiatives on automation, improved reporting and analysis of operations
Key Required Knowledge and Skills:
- BE/B-Tech/MBA degree with 1-2 years of experience in handling large databases using MS Access, MS Excel (advanced macros)
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and independent problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong drive to get things done quickly and correctly in strict accordance with standards, policies, rules and timelines
- Willingness to work in shifts as per the business needs
