JOB SPECIFICATION
Position: Consultant - Business Development
Location: Mumbai
Reporting to: Director Operations & Business Development
Key Responsibilities
- Business planning
- Assist in developing business plan and sales strategy for the market
- Developing an action plan to achieve targets
- Building new client relationships
- Identify and target new clients including corporate, consulting firms, public sector units and educational institutions.
- Engage clients in training and human resources solutioning opportunities and close business deals by facilitating discussions with the client and internal delivery teams as necessary
- Build referral and lead generation network
- Managing and growing accounts
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
- Build long-term relationships with broader set of client teams within the client organization to strengthen the overall relationship
- Set and manage targets for growth of client accounts
- Identifying new business ideas
- Identify new areas for subscription products, white papers and working with the delivery teams to pilot and commercialize these ideas
Functional Requirements:
- Graduate/Post Graduate from a reputed institute
- Experience of 5-7 years is preferred in concept selling
- Preferably from Learning & Development and HR Consulting domain

- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit
- Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior executives of large corporates
- Reliable, tolerant, and determined
- Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view
- They should possess exceptional people / interpersonal skills and the ability to work with client and delivery teams
- The selected candidate should demonstrate a strong track record from prior work
