The Guild + Atidiv role is designed to provide early leadership opportunities and is a steppingstone for an individual to develop founder skill-set such as business development, client management, hiring and retaining top talent, and investor relations.
Job Title: Business Unit Head, Digital Marketing
Job Location: Pune/Mumbai, India
Roles & Responsibilities:Investing role:- Actively source and diligence investment opportunities, based on Guild's investment thesis.
- Build financial models through analysis of market, business model, management quality and business traction.
- Support deal execution through creation of investor materials.
- Actively monitor portfolio companies including financial and operating performance, provide strategic value-add in and formulate exit strategies.
Operating role (at Atidiv - a Guild-owned portfolio company):- Manage P&L for a business vertical of Atidiv and lead day to day operations for the business unit.
- Provide a strategic communication layer between the operating team and the customer.
- Work directly with the senior management to drive sales and revenue growth for the vertical.
- Develop partnership strategy, build BD roadmap and own client relationship from execution to farming.
- Liaise with stakeholders, both internal and external to the company.
The Right Candidate:- A degree from a Tier 1 institute such as IITs / BITS Pilani or a Tier 1 MBA institute is preferred.
- Must have experience working with a top-tier management consulting firm.
- 1-2 years of experience in early startup is preferred.
- Prior work experience as a Digital marketing Leader/BU Head is preferred.
- Entrepreneurial with an ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
- High level of curiosity and interest for startups and the ecosystem
- Team player with ability to work effectively in small groups.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication
- Disciplined and data-driven in approach to business decisions, with a strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable with lack of structure in a fast-paced environment, with ability to create one where required.
