Position Overview:
- As a Deputy General Manager in Human Resources and be responsible for leading and managing the HR team to ensure the effective delivery of HR services and initiatives aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- You will be part of our leadership team, providing strategic HR guidance tosenior management and other leaders and playing a pivotal role in shaping our organizational culture and fostering employee engagement to propel Asteria forward.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning and organizational development. Talent Management: Oversee the onboarding process at all levels of the organization to facilitate new employee integration.
- Develop career development and succession planning programs to foster employee growth and retention.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration and innovation.
- Employee Relations and Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees. Promote a positive work environment and foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement, addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and championing employee engagement initiatives.
- Performance Management: Implement performance management processes to assess employee performance, provide feedback, and support professional growth and development.
- Work with managers to set performance goals and objectives aligned with organizational priorities.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop learning initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Conduct and coordinate training programs and workshops and monitor the effectiveness of training programs.
- HR Operations: Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, and record-keeping.
- Implement and maintain HR processes, procedures, and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws, regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in employment legislation and proactively address any compliance issues.
- Compensation and Benefits: Develop and administer a compensation and benefits program including salary structures, bonuses, and incentives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to ensure the company's compensation and benefits packages remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
10. HR Metrics and Reporting: Utilize HR data analytics and metrics to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize HR processes, improve workforce planning, and support business decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role preferably within the manufacturing or technology industry.
