Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy & Execution:


Job Description:


- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals. Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to drive growth and profitability. Ensure the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.


Team Leadership:


- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed targets. Provide regular training, performance reviews, and feedback to enhance team capabilities. Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team.


Customer Relationship Management:


- Build and nurture relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and delivering value-added solutions. Negotiate and close deals with a focus on long-term partnerships.


Market Analysis & Expansion:


- Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.


- Drive penetration in existing markets and identify opportunities in untapped regions.


- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute campaigns that boost brand presence and product visibility.


Sales Operations & Reporting:


- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management.


- Optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.


Channel & Distribution Management:


- Strengthen distribution networks to ensure product availability and timely delivery. Work closely with supply chain teams to maintain inventory levels and minimize stockouts. Develop incentives and programs to motivate distributors and retailers.


Key Requirements:


Experience:


- 8+ years of experience in sales management, specifically within the FMCG sector. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Experience managing multi-channel sales strategies, including direct sales, distributors, and retailers.


Skills:


- Strong leadership and team management skills. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities. Analytical mindset with expertise in sales forecasting and performance analysis.


Technical Knowledge:


- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics platforms. Familiarity with distribution networks, supply chain management, and retail operations.


Education:


- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.


Other Attributes:


- Willingness to travel extensively to oversee regional sales operations and engage with clients. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong business acumen.
