A leading financial services group with an integrated global network spanning over 30 countries having three business divisions: Retail, Investment Management, and Wholesale (Global Markets and Investment Banking).
Role & Responsibilities :
- Work as a part of the Wholesale Strategy division on global, regional and divisional projects with a focus on Investment Banking
- Prepare presentations for senior management board meetings and support management / business on strategic projects (e.g. identifying opportunities in new areas of growth, developing medium-term business strategy and planning, acquisition screening / evaluation for inorganic opportunities, etc.)
- Strategic assessment of underperforming businesses and recommendations for the same to business heads
- Conduct analysis of the competitive and general macro / market environment for senior management presentations. Develop market sizing / revenue pool models , performance analysis, changes in business environment and key themes impacting the earnings
- Working closely with strategy team members, business CAOs, finance and other functional teams in different regions; working independently or with the support of another member of the team
- The role provides wide exposure into Investment Banking industry across traditional banking (ECM, DCM, M&A, ALF) and non-traditional banking (Risk Solutions, Insurance Solutions, Equity Solutions etc.) as well as exposure to other Wholesale businesses.
Corporate Title - Associate
Qualification :
- MBA from Tier 1 Institute - IIM , XLRI only
- Domain 2-5 years of relevant work experience in a strategy role, in a consulting firm or a strategy/business planning unit of a financial institution
- Strong analytical skills , excel skills along with Power Point and presentation.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets
