Job Title: AVP/VP - Technical Hiring

Department: Talent Acquisition

Reporting To: CHRO / Head of Talent Acquisition

Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AVP/VP - Technical Hiring to lead and scale our technical talent acquisition function.


- The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision and operational excellence to build high-performing teams across engineering, product, data science, and other technical functions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive end-to-end technical hiring strategy and execution across multiple business units.

- Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Business Leadership to forecast talent needs and design workforce planning strategies.

- Build, lead, and mentor a team of technical recruiters and sourcing specialists.

- Design and implement scalable recruitment processes, tools, and employer branding strategies.

- Leverage data and analytics to track hiring KPIs, pipeline health, time-to-fill, and quality of hire.

- Own stakeholder management and regularly communicate hiring progress to CXOs and business heads.

- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with universities, bootcamps, and industry groups for talent pipeline.

- Drive D&I hiring initiatives and ensure best practices are embedded in all recruitment efforts.

- Evaluate and deploy ATS/CRM systems and recruitment automation tools.

- Stay up to date with the latest hiring trends in tech domains (AI/ML, cloud, full-stack, DevOps, etc.).

Required Skills & Experience:

- 12-18+ years of total experience with at least 10+ years in technical recruitment leadership.

- Proven experience in hiring for mid-to-senior level engineering, data, architecture, and product roles.

- Hands-on knowledge of technical assessments, hiring bar calibration, and interviewing processes.

- Strong understanding of the tech landscape, emerging trends, and talent market across geographies.

- Strategic thinker with a metrics-driven approach to hiring.

- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Experience in high-growth startups or global tech firms preferred.

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business, or a relevant technical field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience hiring at scale in global markets (US, Europe, APAC).

- Knowledge of technical hiring tools like HackerRank, Codility, Karat, and LinkedIn Recruiter.

- Certifications in Talent Acquisition or Executive Recruitment (nice to have).
